A Nemo Submersible will work better and last longer if it is not forced to pressurize a closed tank after it pumps water to the surface (see installation page). A Flojet 4300 pump, installed between a non-pressurized storage tank and a standard pressure tank, can thus be used as a booster pump to obtain standard household water system pressure.

The Flojet 4300 surface pump can also be used directly in many applications where a submersible pump is not required, such as pumping from a stream, pond, or shallow well if the vertical distance to the water below the pump is not more than about 15 feet (it will pump water about 100 vertical feet above the pump and hundreds of feet horizontally).

The Flojet 4300 Quad Pump can automatically provide a maximum 45 psi water pressure to a pressure tank, holding tank, or directly to a faucet, with a flow rate of up to 4.9 gallons per minute. This Flojet 4300 is the Heavy Duty Fan-cooled model, an industrial series 12 Volt DC quad demand pump with a built in pressure switch. It is rated at 13 amps, but at 4.9 GPM that still translates into outstanding efficiency. It comes complete with snap-in 3/4" hose barbs for easy installation.
